Welcome to the Financial Aid Web site of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our mission is to provide you with information, counseling, and assistance to help you meet your educational expenses.
The financial aid staff is very aware that paying for graduate or professional school can be an overwhelming experience for students. In order to meet your needs, our office maintains an open door policy to provide service. No appointment is necessary to speak with a financial aid counselor. They will take the time to listen to your financial situation and help to generate funding solutions.
The primary financial obligation to pay for your education lies with you, your parents and/or spouse, and others who may support you financially while you are in school. Careful planning and fiscal management are essential to meet your future obligations. Try to limit your educational debt as much as possible by living modestly according to a well planned
budget, and by researching sources of gift aid such as grants and scholarships which do not have to be repaid.
Please stop by the
Financial Aid Office at your convenience to discuss any financial aid questions, or issues of importance concerning the financing of your education that you may have.
