Dr. Elliott teaches in Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacy Practice Lab, Public Health and
guest lectures in other courses throughout the first, second and third year curriculum.
Dr. Elliott’s primary areas of interest for research include diabetes, hypertension,
cultural competency and the indigent population, and academia.
Dr. Elliott recently completed her PGY1 residency with a focus on Ambulatory Care
through the University of Florida. She went on to work as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist
specializing in diabetes management for Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta, Georgia. In
addition, Dr. Elliott earned her teaching certificate through her PGY1 residency program.
Dr. Elliott has a passion for ambulatory care with special interest in the indigent
population. She looks forward to obtaining her board certification in ambulatory care
as well as becoming a Certified Diabetes Educator.
