Treating and Preventing Quarantine Aches and Pains |
The length of time quarantining at home takes a toll on the mind and the body. Compounded
with attempting to work a regular schedule at home while dealing with all the additional
stressors of life can give us pains in our muscles, joints and bones. Since many specialties
that would normally treat these issues with manual manipulation are closed, it is
now more important than ever to learn ways and find tools that can help alleviate
or lessen the severity of our own pains and prevent them from returning. Through some
basic exercises, postural adjustments and a few tools, many of these pains can be
treated. Dr. Levin and his wife will demonstrate some of these and will also answer
questions about treating these pains.

Andrew Levin, DO Assistant Professor, Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, PCOM
