The PCOM Georgia Doctor of Pharmacy Program White Coat Ceremony for the Class of 2028 will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in the Hughes Ballroom at the Gas South Convention Center.
PCOM Georgia Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students will celebrate with friends, family, faculty and administrators as they are presented their pharmacist white coats, recite their professionalism pledge and hear from program chairs and guest speakers. The white coat ceremony marks a significant milestone in welcoming students into the pharmacy profession.
The white coat establishes a student pharmacist's transition to becoming part of a clinical healthcare team. The coat reminds medical students of their duty to practice patient care with humanism and professionalism. It symbolizes competency, integrity, compassion and responsibility to improving health outcomes.

Attendees must receive a ticket from a PCOM Georgia student in order to enter the ceremony. Visit the Student Affairs event site for details about the ceremony for students, family, faculty/staff and VIPs.
