Our certificate programs in Public Health Management and Administration offer students the opportunity to enhance their skills in leadership with an emphasis on managing change in the evolving public health field.

REQUEST PROGRAM INFORMATION


Through action learning orientation, the program develops leaders who understand the core of public health management systems, are positive change agents, and engage in reflective practice to continually improve their skills.

The Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (12 credits) ​is​ ​for those individuals who have received an advanced degree in any discipline, while the Certificate of Graduate Studies​ (18 credits)​ is for those individuals who have received their bachelor’s degree and seek graduate-level learning experiences to enhance their management and leadership skills in public health settings.

Program Highlights

  • Cohort-based program in which students learn from their peers as well as accomplished faculty members.
  • Focus on multiple competencies, including innovation, financial planning, public policy and law.
  • Convenient, innovative course delivery on weekends and blended live and online assignments.

This program is a collaboration between PCOM and the nonprofit Public Health Management Corporation. Taught by renowned faculty, including those from PCOM and PHMC, classes are conveniently offered on weekends at PHMC's office facilities located in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia.
