Aging Concentration
MS in Biomedical Sciences

Students pursuing the Aging Concentration will focus on the biological factors involved with aging, diseases associated with aging, gero-psychiatric issues and coursework in nursing home administration.

Following completion of the two 4-credit nursing home administration courses, students may secure an Administrator in Training (AIT) position for 1,000 clock hours, then apply for licensure as a nursing home administrator.

After completing foundation year coursework, students may progress to the second-year degree concentration.
