Moriah Newman is the Simulation Manager at PCOM Georgia. Newman works with the Office of Clinical Education to provide high quality medical simulations. Newman believes that medical simulation provides a dynamic educational experience through hands-on, experimental learning.
A Gwinnett County native, Newman graduated from Berkmar High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at Georgia Gwinnett College. She then obtained her Master of Science in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Medical Simulation at PCOM Georgia. As part of her education at PCOM Georgia, she learned how to use manikins and programs by CAE, Laerdal, and Gaumard and had the opportunity to develop, write, and execute simulations for medical students, local hospitals, nursing students, and emergency medical personnel.
