Kerin Claeson, PhD, associate professor, anatomy, co-authored “A Guide to Competencies, Educational
Goals, and Learning Objectives for Teaching Human Embryology in an Undergraduate Medical
Education Setting,” in the journal Medical Science Educator. Dr. Claeson serves on the American Association of Anatomists’ Task Force in Anatomical
Sciences, and as a member, helped summarize the essential information that every medical
student should encounter while in medical school.
Jason E. Cohn, DO, otolaryngology resident, was first author on “Complete Resolution of Guttate Psoriasis
After Tonsillectomy,” published in the Ear, Nose and Throat Journal.
David Festinger, PhD, professor psychology, and John Della Porta, PsyD ’17, published “Examining the Use of Visual Performance Feedback in Drug Treatment Court,”
in the journal Experimental and Clinical Psychopharmacology.
Jacquelyn Gerhart, MS, coordinator, research support staff and bio-imaging; Colleen Withers (DO ’20); Arturo Bravo-Nuevo, PhD, associate professor, neuroscience; and Mindy George-Weinstein, PhD, chief research and science officer, co-authored “Myo/Nog Cells are Present in the Ciliary Processes, on the Zonule of
Zinn and Posterior Capsule of the Lens Following Cataract Surgery,” in the journal
Experimental Eye Research.

Richard E. White, PhD, professor of neuroscience, physiology and pharmacology, published “Listeriolysin O
Causes ENaC Dysfunction in Human Airway Epithelial Cells,” in the journal Toxins.
