This position is based at PCOM Georgia (Suwanee, Georgia).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • This position will have primary teaching responsibilities in the PharmD program that include classroom and experiential instruction.
  • The individual is required to establish a practice site in inpatient internal medicine with the guidance of the Pharmacy Practice Chair.

Position Requirements

*Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check.
Education
  • A PharmD degree and minimum of PGY1 residency training or equivalent experience in internal medicine is required.
Experience
  • Experience in academia.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience or interest in innovative teaching methodologies.
  • A willingness and potential to contribute to the research and service missions of the school and college are essential.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
  • The individual must be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Georgia.
