Research Facilities

Basic and translational research are carried out in PCOM’s laboratories and core facilities that are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for ultrastructural, cellular level, live cell and intravital microscopy and imaging, molecular, biochemical, morphometric and behavioral analyses, cell culture and electrophysiology.

On PCOM's Philadelphia campus, there is a total of 9,536 square feet of space and 1,250 linear feet of bench top space dedicated to basic science research housed across five floors in Evans Hall.The Dr. Michael and Wendy Saltzburg Clinical Learning & Assessment Center on the Philadelphia campus and the Simulation Center on the Georgia campus—featuring patient and training rooms, surgical and emergency treatment suites, and robotic and virtual simulators—are utilized for student and faculty training.

Clinical research is integrated into our healthcare centers, medical offices, affiliates and the community.
