My Accounts

The PCOM network account is used to logon to on-campus computers and to authenticate off-campus users. Forgotten password? Contact the MIS Department at 215-871-6110 or HelpDesk@pcom.edu  to resolve network account problems.

Personal accounts are required for Library, Exam Master, MedCases, and RefWorks access.
Optional personal accounts are available for MD Consult.

When registering for personal accounts or PDA downloads, always use your PCOM e-mail account. Accounts registered to non-PCOM e-mail accounts will be deleted.

 

My Library Account

Enter your last name and the LIB# on your PCOM ID to access your Library Account. You may review borrowed and requested items, due dates, and fines. You may also renew items online. If you are unable to logon to your account, contact the Circulation Desk to verify your LIB#. 

 

Exam Master

Exam Master is a question bank useful for preparing and practicing for Boards and Certification Exams, including COMLEX, USMLE, Certification Review Exams, and PANCE.  See Board Review for a complete list. Self-register on the Exam Master web site.

Faculty interested in creating and assigning exams in Exam Master should e-mail Library@pcom.edu to request access to "Academic Manager" functionalities.

 

MedCases

MedCases simulated patient cases are assigned to DO students in the third year clerkships. E-mail Library@pcom.edu to request the access code required for self-registration.

 

MD Consult & MDC Mobile

MD Consult offers an optional personal account in addition to the institutional account. With a personal account, users may customize patient education handouts, and define preferences for specialty news and alerts. Click on “Create Account” on the top right of the MD Consult home screen. Complete the registration form, click “Submit."

A personal account is required for mobile access. When creating an account, users must log out of their account on a workstation before logging into their phone. The link for MDC Mobile is http://mobile.mdconsult.com (link works only from a smart phone.)

 

RefWorks

RefWorks is a web-based research management, writing, and collaboration tool. It is an invaluable resource for saving and organizing citations and web sites, and creating bibliographies in hundreds of journal-specific formats.
