Library Instruction

The goal of Library instruction is to enable all users to independently find, evaluate, and effectively use information to solve problems and create knowledge. Information literacy skills are essential to the lifelong learning required of all health care professionals.

Library staff members welcome the opportunity to collaborate with faculty on integrating information literacy into the curriculum, focusing on creating meaningful assignments that require the use of library electronic resources. Library staff will identify appropriate resources, design online exercises, and/or present hands-on workshops or resource sessions. Faculty members are invited to call or visit the Library to discuss training opportunities.
