Interlibrary Loan - Borrowing from Other Libraries

PCOM faculty, students, and staff who require access to materials not owned or licensed by the Library may request loans from other libraries. In most cases, interlibrary loan requests are mediated by PCOM Library staff. There are two exceptions: Philadelphia campus users may transmit requests directly to a lending library using E-Z Borrow, or they may visit select TCLC libraries (see Access to Other Libraries). All other requests should be made as indicated below.

Identify Desired Materials

Before initiating a borowing request, check the following resources.

Books: Search the PCOM Library Catalog. Books held in one campus collection may be requested by a user on the other campus. PA users: Search E-ZBorrow PA Academic Library Consortium catalogs logging in with the LIB# on you PCOM ID.

Journal Articles: Search Journal Locator for print and electronic journals by title, keyword, subject, or publisher.
