PCOM is proud to partner with other colleges and universities in helping students meet their educational goals. These affiliation agreements assure an interview and/or acceptance should a student from an affiliated school meet certain academic and other defined criteria.

PCOM South Georgia Pathway Agreements

An affiliation 4+4 agreement is for students that meet certain metrics during the senior year of their undergraduate experience to receive a guaranteed interview. PCOM South Georgia will accept students that have a successful interview and decision rendered by the DO Faculty Committee on Admissions.

  • Take advantage of programming to support competitiveness as a PCOM South Georgia DO applicant.
Next steps
  • Express interest to college advisor.
  • Fill out PCOM Application of Intent.
  • Take advantage of Pathway to PCOM programming opportunities.
  • Take MCAT no later than fall of senior year.
  • Fill out AACOMAS application no later than October 31 of senior year.
  • Pay institutional application fee by November 30 of senior year.
  • Receive interview.
  • Receive decision from PCOM.

Participating schools

An articulation 3+4 is for students to enter into PCOM South Georgia's DO program during the senior year of their undergraduate experience. Students will secure the remaining credits required for the desired baccalaureate degree through the transfer of credits from the DO program back to the university.

  • Save time and money by starting medical school a year early.

  • Fill out PCOM Application of Intent.
  • Take advantage of Pathway to PCOM programming opportunities.
  • Take MCAT no later than fall of junior year.
  • AACOMAS application complete and verified no later than December 1 of junior year.
  • Pay institutional application fee by December 1 of junior year.
  • Receive interview.
  • Receive decision from PCOM.
