Richard A. Pascucci, DO

Dr. Pascucci has practiced and taught rheumatology at the College since he was recruited in 1993. He has served as Vice Dean directing the PCOM GME programs for the last 23 years and has also served as the Chief Academic Officer of PCOM's Educational Consortium (PCOM MEDNet).

Dr. Pascucci is a Founding Fellow of the American Rheumatism Association (FARA) and has published several articles in the field including "Synovial Fluid Analysis - A Diagnostic Aid in the Rheumatic Diseases" in Osteopathic Medical News, and "Pharmacologic Management of the Elderly Arthritic" in The Journal of Osteopathic Medicine. He has spoken at more than 40 professional conferences on the topics of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, gout and inflammatory muscle disease.

  • Education

    Dr. Pascucci received his D.O. degree from PCOM in 1975. He served his internship and residency at Suburban General Hospital in Norristown, PA and completed his fellowship in rheumatology and clinical immunology at the University of Louisville in 1980.
