JOEL S. GARBLIK
Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Joel Garblik, DDS, MS is a retired dentist and clinical assistant professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Pathology. He has more than 30 years of healthcare, business, computer technology, teaching and forensic experience. His pedigree includes education at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, Temple University Dental School (DDS) and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (MS, Forensic Medicine).

Currently, he lectures to both the DO students and forensic medicine students and focuses on oral pathology, dental pathology and conducts a workshop in forensic odontology. This workshop gives students a clinical opportunity to take impressions and make models of the mouth and to understand how the teeth provide valuable forensic information regarding missing and unknown individuals.

Prior to joining PCOM, Dr. Garblik was a Vice President with WebMD and was responsible for national dental accounts that utilized electronic insurance billing and patient records software that he created.
