Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), in the greater Atlanta area, is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time Medical Simulation Technician. The Technician will be an integral member of a team that uses advanced technology to coordinate, record, and assess student learner in a simulated clinical environment. Duties include (but are not limited to): manage, maintain, and update all hardware, software, audiovisual, multimedia, and computer-based technology and equipment. Serve as on-site point person for Department staff and users for all matters concerning audiovisual system and clinical education technology. Act as direct liaison with technology vendors and internal technology department. Interface with vendor technical support team to resolve issues and assure quality control. Generate recordings and automated schedules in software recording system. Develop and maintain schedules of students and programs in system according to curriculum. Input, manage, and update all data in system including users, checklists, cases, and scoring. Record and capture videos and photos for student training materials. Other duties as assigned.
Technical Degree required. Management of audiovisual, multimedia, and information systems, database management, advanced level of IT proficiency. Prefer experience with clinical learning software including Arcadia, SimulationiQ, or Learning Space. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
