Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), in the greater Atlanta area, is seeking qualified individuals for a full-time HR Assistant.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Human Resources, Georgia Campus this position provides administrative and reception support for the Human Resources Department. Primary responsibilities will include administrative/technical assistance in processing the day-to-day administration of various recruitment and hiring functions, special events, employment verifications, maintaining personnel records, etc. Duties include (but are not limited to): Maintains employment resumes and job applications in Applicant Tracking software. Organizes responses and gives to Assistant Director for further review and direction. Schedules interviews between prospective employees and hiring department in the process of filling vacancies. Administers clerical and/or other testing to appropriate prospective employees. Schedules and coordinates meetings and facilities, which may include travel and lodging arrangements. Composes posting of current open positions, prepares ads, and processes advertising invoices. Maintains the Job Opportunities on the GA-PCOM web page using the OU software.
High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum 3 years administrative experience is required; previous HR experience is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software: Word, Access and Excel. Knowledge of Banner or other HRIS computer system is preferred. HR Certification preferred but not required.
