Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – School of Pharmacy is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time, assistant or associate professor, tenure-track faculty position in pharmacy administration at the Georgia campus (situated near the greater Atlanta area). The School was recently accredited by ACPE.
This individual will be expected to assist in the Pharmacoeconomics, Biostatistics, and Drug Literature Evaluation courses within the School. The preferred candidate will have experience in teaching or conducting research in pharmacoeconomic analysis and biostatistics, will develop and maintain an extramurally-funded research program and participate in a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment with other faculty in the School. In addition, this individual will be expected to contribute to the service needs of the School, serve on various committees and participate in the accreditation process.
The successful applicant will possess a Ph.D. degree in Social/Behavioral/Administrative Sciences or a related field, or a Pharm.D. degree with advanced training in a social or administrative discipline (e.g., fellowship in Pharmacy Administration, Pharmacoeconomics, Health Outcomes). A professional degree in pharmacy is desirable.
