The Campus Sexual Violence Act (“SaVE Act”) provision, Section 304 which instructs colleges and universities to provide programming for students and employees addressing the issues of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.

In accordance with the “SaVE Act” and to ensure that all PCOM employees and students receive annual sexual harassment and Title IX Awareness training annually, the Office of Diversity & Compliance in conjunction with Workplace Answers, Inc. has developed online training modules that incorporate interactive flash modules and questions throughout the course.

It is the policy of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination (including Sexual Harassment and sexual violence) based on sex in the College’s educational programs and activities.  Title IX also prohibits retaliation for asserting claims of sex discrimination.  Sexual Misconduct as defined in this Policy is a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX.
