PCOM Healthcare Center - City Avenue Division is one of four PCOM healthcare centers serving the needs of the medically underserved in Philadelphia. Other Centers are in North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia and Roxborough.
The City Avenue Division is comprised of six practices, all located in Rowland Hall on the College's campus:
- family medicine
- geriatrics
- gynecology
- internal medicine
- osteopathic manipulative medicine
- psychology
The physicians emphasize health awareness, education and prevention of illness and disease. Because they are teaching physicians, they often have students assisting with the medical care. The physicians can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
