NEW Look, NEW OneSearch+

It is a simple, google-like search of much of our quality electronic and print content. Robust metadata assures targeted, relevant search results, an improvement over earlier discovery tools. Pre-indexing assures faster retrieval. A mobile interface provides the growing number of smart phone users with easy access. OneSearch+ is in beta so expect future content growth and search refinements.  For more information, see PCOM Press Release and a recent InfoToday article. Summer 2010
Pharmacy Collections

PCOM access to SciFinder is now active. SciFinder is the graphical interface for searching Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) databases of chemistry, biomedical sciences, engineering, materials sciences-related information and patents.
A personal user name and password are required to access SciFinder. PCOM users must be on-campus to create an account, and must register with a pcom.edu e-mail address. Once the account is set-up, a user may access SciFinder from any location.
Given CAS license restrictions, users must e-mail library@pcom.edu for the link to the user registration site.

There is a new SciFinder tab in the Pharmacy Subject Guide which provides important information on access and links to 1) the SciFinder database, 2) a step-by-step guide to New User Registration and 3) CAS tutorials.
