The PCOM/Mercy Suburban Hospital Family Practice Residency Program is a dynamic post-graduate educational experience.  On 7/1/05 the two solitary programs from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Mercy Suburban Hospital, formerly Suburban General Hospital, successfully united their resources to provide a challenging comprehensive learning curriculum.  Our program is fully accredited from the AOA and the ACOFP is approved for 16 slots, and is currently funded for 12.   The PCOM/Mercy Suburban Hospital Family Practice Residency Program curriculum successfully balances didactic education and challenging rotations.  Weekly didactic activities include Family Practice Journal Club, and Friday Morning Report and Lecture.
