In addition, students are encouraged to utilize convenient Web sites to conduct searches and gain information on additional sources of scholarships, grants and educational loans.
Approximately two-thirds of all student financial aid comes from the federal programs that you will read about here. Aid covers educationally related expenses, including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies and transportation. Most federal aid is need-based. The most common types of aid are grants, loans, and work-study.
