Jim is an Assistant Professor in the Forensic Medicine program. His background includes nineteen years as a flight paramedic on the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center's trauma helicopter, PennSTAR. Over the last eight years, he has also served as the lead tactical medic for the Philadelphia FBI SWAT team. Jim is a graduate of PCOM's inaugural Masters of Forensic Medicine class in 2002. Stache, the PCOM sponsored cadaver-dog, is partnered with Jim and they have served in the aftermath of Katrina, Iraq, and numerous cases in the Delaware Valley.
