Bruce Kornberg, D.O.

  

Dr. Bruce Kornberg is Co-Vice Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine, and Professor and Chair of its Cardiology Division. He is Director of Osteopathic Medical Education for the Medical College of Pennsylvania.

His published articles include "When to Refer Your Patient for Heart Valve Replacement" in the Annals of Osteopathic Medicine (Vol.11, No.2) and "A Review of Coronary Artery Anomalies" in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (1989).

Dr. Kornberg was honored with the Lindback Award for Outstanding Teaching in 1990 and is a four-time recipient of PCOM's Clinical Teacher of the Year Award. In 1992 he was a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. Kornberg received his D.O. from PCOM in 1978. He completed his internship and residency with the College and from 1981 to 1983 served a fellowship with the Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
