Dr. Mark Miller became an Associate Professor of Anatomy at PCOM in 1999, having previously served five years in the department as Assistant Professor. He has taught histology, physiology and gross anatomy at the medical, masters and physical therapy course levels and is the current Course Director of Gross Anatomy. His research focus is on neurofilament protein and cellular myosin II isoforms in the postnatal rat brain.
Dr. Miller has served on various PCOM committees including terms as Director of the Animal Facility, Chair of the Academic Planning and Budget Committee, and secretary of the faculty senate. He received his Ph.D. in Neuroanatomy from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1993.
