DESCRIPTION
This program is designed to update clinicians with the changes that have occurred over the past five years in the understanding of causes, screening methods, prevention, identification, and management of gynecological disorders and issues. Evidence-based information will be provided in practical algorithms that the busy clinician can use in patient care.
OBJECTIVE
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Define appropriate management goals for treating common gynecologic disorders
- Apply Osteopathic principles to patients with gynecologic disorders
- Recognize the diagnostic characteristics of cervical abnormalities on cytologic, colposcopic, and histologic examination results
- Identify and discuss current trends in diagnosis and treatment of vulvovaginal infections
- Become familiar with new and advanced surgical gynecologic modalities
- Bone-Up on Osteoporosis

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
Physicians: "The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine has requested that the AOA Council on Continuing Medical Education approve this program for five hours of AOA Category 1-A CME credits. Approval is currently pending." Sign-in and full day attendance of program is required for credit. On-campus parking is available in our garage, please enter on Stout Road. All-day parking is $5.00. Please note: the automated gate takes quarters or one, five and ten dollar bills. Enter Evans Hall through the front entrance across from the parking garage.
FEE POLICIES
Physicians $125.00, Physician Assistants and other Health Care Professionals, $75.00. Registration fees for Saturday and Sunday programs are not refundable, nor can they be credited to future programs.
