Student-Alumni Networking Night

  

Dana C. Shaffer, DO '85, (left) was among some 20 DO alumni who attended the annual Student-Alumni Networking Night at the Manayunk Brewing Co. Nearly 100 second- through fourth-year DO students discussed clerkships, internships, residencies and careers with alumni. Dr. Shaffer is the assistant treasurer and Middle America representative to the Alumni Association of PCOM Board of Directors and is the senior associate dean of clinical affairs at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is pictured here with (l to r) Dave Russell (DO '12), Tom Tonkin (DO '12), Zach Booms (DO '12), Eamon Filan (DO '12) and Kimberley Maxwell (DO '12).  It was a fitting end to this year's Founders' Day activities on Jan. 22, 2010.
