POMA Alumni Reception More than 150 PCOM alumni, family, and trustees enjoyed a reception on Thursday, May 1st at the Radisson Hotel in Valley Forge as part of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association Convention. During the reception, Matthew Schure, PhD, President and CEO, and Kenneth J. Veit, DO'76, MBA Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean, presented the Alumni Association Certificate of Merit to Jeffry A. Lindenbaum, DO'75. Dr. Lindenbaum was installed as president of POMA during the Convention.

FOMA Alumni Reception
Over 60 PCOM alumni and friends attended a reception and buffet dinner on February 22, 2008, during the annual Florida Osteopathic Medical Association convention in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
 Past FOMA presidents, Joseph Giaimo, DO '87, William Silverman, DO '76, Paul Seltzer, DO '80, and Robert Greer, DO '77 enjoy sharing stories about PCOM.

Class of 2010 Survivor's Lunch On Thursday, May 1, 2008 the Class of 2010 Survivor's Lunch was held in Lotman Lobby in Evans Hall. In addition to the 200 plus students enjoying hotdogs and hamburgers, Teacher of the Year Awards were given out. Robert Fogel, DO '58, Chairman of the PCOM Pathology, Microbiology, Immunology and Forensic Medicine Department, was on hand to receive his Teacher of the Year Award by the class, however, Denah Appelt, PhD, from the Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology Department and Brian Balin, PhD, from the Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology Department, also received Teacher of the Year Awards.



NASP Alumni/Student Dinner PCOM alumni and students attended a dinner hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations and Development and the Office of Admissions at the National Association of School Psychologists 2008 Convention in New Orleans on February 7, 2008.

Rovinsky Family Lectureship The first annual Rovinsky Family Lectureship was held on Friday, December 7, 2007 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the Zedeck Family Ampitheater in Evans Hall. Dr. Arthur Freeman, Clinical Professor of Psychology at PCOM, was the keynote speaker. Before the lecture, Harvey and Maddy Rovinsky and their daughter, Julia, who is a second year Psy.D. student, attended a reception with their family, guests and the distinguished staff and faculty of PCOM.
