ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks full-time Security Supervisors (Sergeant) to, under the direction of the Director of Security & Public Safety; provide security and safety services to the college for the protection of life and property within the college community. Duties include: inspection and preventative patrol; conducting educational safety programs; orientation of new personnel; and supervising and directing contract security officers. Position requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of law enforcement experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Candidates must have prior PA Act #120 and /or Federal Law Enforcement training and maintain PA Act #235 certification along with a valid driver?s license. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the job and be willing to work various shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.
