ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Division of Research, is currently seeking a Coordinator to support the administrative and project needs of the Chief Science Officer, Director of Research and Sponsored Programs, Chief Occupational, Environmental and Safety Officer, Director of Laboratory Animal Resources, and team members of these groups within. The Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling meetings, presentations, luncheons and facilities for Division of Research events, and preparing and distributing meeting minutes to the appropriate individuals. Additional duties will include providing technical support to faculty in preparing grant applications, coordinating approval for subcontracts, material transfer agreements, and other research related agreements, developing and maintaining research web presence within the PCOM web page, and processing departmental correspondence.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum three years experience as support staff in a fast-paced office environment is required, with preference given to candidates with experience in College or University environments. Experience working with research and education preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point is required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Access strongly preferred. Banner and Blackboard experience preferred.
