Job Title: Deputy Advancement Officer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • The department of Institutional Advancement at PCOM seeks a Deputy Advancement Officer to provide customer-focused leadership and strategic support for all fundraising and outreach efforts. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), the Deputy Advancement Officer will serve as the lead prospect portfolio manager and assist the CAO with overall prospect strategies and initiatives. S/he will have frontline fundraising goals, as well as direct responsibility for database administration, reporting and data integrity and management, gifts/records processing and administration, stewardship financial processes, donor relations, prospect management and research, and campaign management.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum seven years progressively responsible experience with relational databases and reporting tools, preferably within an institution of higher education. The successful candidate will demonstrate a broad knowledge of all facets of institutional advancement, have a thorough understanding of IRS and FASB laws and regulations, and be well versed in fundraising and solicitation policies and procedures. Must be willing to travel as needed and be available to work occasional evenings and weekends.
