ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Psychology, is seeking a full time Coordinator for the School Psychology Programs. The successful candidate will act as the liaison between the Director of School Psychology programs and faculty, students, and other college administration. In collaboration with the Department Chair, the Coordinator will be responsible for general administration of the School MS, EdS, and PsyD School Psychology programs, as well as the Certificate Program in Applied Behavior Analysis. Other responsibilities will include developing and maintaining application requirements and ongoing preparations for NASP training standards and BCBA standards, coordinating School Psychology and BCBA Certificate Program schedules including faculty teaching assignments, course sequence and proper student distribution, assisting the Registrar’s Office in obtaining final course grades and updating incomplete grades, and developing and maintaining program databases to track student progress. The Coordinator will also be responsible for managing and overseeing the recruitment efforts across all Psychology programs, with a primary focus on the School Psychology and BCBA programs. Other duties will be assigned as needed or required.
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum two years’ experience in an administrative capacity. Preference given to candidates with a Master’s Degree and/or experience working in higher education. Strong student service orientation and excellent communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
