The Department of Psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) is seeking a doctoral level licensed or license-eligible psychologist with additional certification as a licensed professional counselor for a half-time (12 month) non-tenure track position as Associate Director for the MS Program in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology, entering at the Clinical Assistant Professor level, to begin August 1, 2013. This position is already funded.
Responsibilities include: Overseeing the field placements of students in the master’s program; maintaining and developing practicum and internship sites, including conducting site visits; teaching two courses each year; serving as advisor for half the students in the program; participating in recruitment activities and interviewing for the MS program; interviewing and decision-making for external students seeking to obtain additional graduate credits through our Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies; clinical supervision of MS students; scholarly activity in areas of expertise; and other administrative tasks as assigned.
