Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Department: Office of Diversity and Compliance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Office of Diversity and Compliance, is seeking a part-time (50 hours biweekly) Administrative Assistant.  This position will provide administrative support to the Chief Diversity Officer (CDO), and will be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the department calendar, travel arrangements for the CDO, event planning support and will provide assistance on special projects as assigned. The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for the Office, and will answer phones and greet and direct visitors accordingly. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum three years administrative experience in a fast paced office environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills and a high level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite are required. Must possess ability to uphold strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
