Job Title: Courier/Storeroom Clerk
Department: Distribution Services 
Location: PCOM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Distribution Services, is seeking a full-time Courier/Storeroom Clerk. This position will be responsible for the receipt and delivery of materials and/or equipment by either College owned vehicle and/or various carriers and operation of storeroom activities. Will pick up and deliver mail, parcels, packages, and equipment to off campus locations, receive and distribute all stored items, assist in tagging all appropriate corporate equipment, and other duties as assigned or required. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Position requires a minimum of one (1) year experience and a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Some technical training beyond high school preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel is a plus. Prior experience operating an electric forklift preferred. Successful candidate must have and maintain a valid driver’s license issued by state of residence with no accidents and/or violations within the previous three (3) years, and valid motor vehicle insurance. Position requires heavy physical effort, including lifting and carrying 70 pounds or more, prolonged periods of standing and walking, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
