Assistant Professor, Physiology, Division of Basic Sciences, Georgia Campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Responsible for teaching graduate level courses in Physiology to medical students and graduate students. Duties include: actively pursuing scientific research of other scholarly activity; participating in professional and scientific meetings; preparing and delivering presentations; evaluating student progress; communicating evaluations to students and admin/faculty members; and publishing results of scientific research or other scholarly activity in professional journals. Candidates must have five (5) years of experience teaching physiology and be capable of graduate level teaching one or more of the following areas: cardiovascular, respiratory, renal physiology and endocrinology. Minimum level of education required for this position is an earned doctorate in an appropriate field. (Employer will accept PhD in an appropriate related field or DO or MD.)
