ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), in the greater Atlanta area, is seeking qualified individuals for a full-time Administrative Assistant for the Chief Campus Officer. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative/secretarial support to GA Campus Chief Campus Officer and the campus Business Services Coordinator through the performance of diversified administrative and secretarial functions. The role functions as a liaison with the offices of PCOM Cabinet Members in Philadelphia, leadership offices on GA Campus, PCOM Board Members, and influential community and state leaders. Some duties include (but are not limited to): Draft and process correspondence in professional manner, manage heavy calendar and schedule management for CCO to ensure maximization of his/her time and maximize use of institutional resources, prepare travel arrangements and process reimbursement requests, assist with annual budget preparation and budget tracking in concert with the CCO and Business Services Coordinator, etc.
High school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university is highly preferred. A minimum of five years experience as an administrative assistant in a fast paced office environment is required -- with preference given to experience within college, university, health system, legislative, or corporate office. Experience supporting a senior level leader is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite version used by PCOM, Google email system, and other relevant office productivity software is required. Working knowledge of Banner enterprise system is highly preferred.
