ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a full time Administrative Assistant for the School of Pharmacy.
  • Successful candidate will provide administrative/secretarial support to the Chair, Pharmacy Practice and to other faculty members in the department of Pharmacy Practice.
  • Candidate will assists with experiential education coordination, class and rotation scheduling.  Will prepare travel requisition and requests.
  • Answers department phone lines and routes to the appropriate parties; processes correspondence (i.e. memoranda, technical papers, special projects, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The minimum level of formal education of this position is a High School Diploma, or equivalent.  Associates degree or technical training is preferred.  A minimum of three years experience in a fast paced office is require, with preference given to college or university environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.  Knowledge of Microsoft Access desirable.  Experience using Banner, Blackboard, CourseEval and E*Value is preferred.
