Job Title: Admissions Assistant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), in the greater Atlanta area, is seeking qualified individuals for a full-time Admissions Assistant.  The Admissions Assistant assists the department in coordinating the admissions process for Georgia Campus of PCOM. This person will serve as the initial point of contact for students, applicants and other visitors both in person and by phone.  Assists with application processes for all programs including scanning of documents into NOLIJ, download Graduate test scores and input into Banner/NOLIJ. Schedule and confirm interviews for GA Campus programs.  Prepare interview sheets for all GA Campus programs. Assists with preparations for Open Houses and Information Sessions and will be required to work the evenings of the events. 

     

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum one year experience working in a fast paced office environment, proficient in Microsoft Office Word, and a working knowledge of Excel and Access.  Knowledge of Banner helpful, but not required.  High school diploma or general education diploma (G.E.D.), Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) is preferred.
